Throughout this time, and since then, she has been printmaking and undertaking private painting commissions.

Sue Morris works from life or in mixed media, combining collage, paint and found objects. Included in the work are items collected of personal relevance and so form a scrapbook diary, so that work becomes autobiographical. She also collects images specific themes which are then combined to form a commentary on contemporary issues. She draws influence from artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Kurt Scwitters, Ben Nicholson and Jack Smith.
