Never to be forgotten

July 13, 2018 //  by Lynn Tulip//  Leave a Comment

A one man show about memory and the significance of loss.  See the Memory Man perform in the High Street at 12.30pm and 2.30pm

A man is forced out of his home, leaving his friends, family and community. He chooses 10 of his most treasured possessions to take with him to remind him of the life he is leaving behind.

Using humour, stories and circus, this fiercely energetic show looks at what it means to be pushed out of what we know to an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar faces.

Memory Man was commissioned by The Basingstoke Festival and Supported by Arts Council England. The initial production was directed by John Wright and designed by The Flying Butresses. There will be further development on Memory Man in 2018 with support from Applause Rural Touring.
