Driven to start painting in 2010, Paul’s work has attracted considerable praise, been exhibited widely and attracted buyers from all over the world.

Paul aims for a strong response to his paintings. “My intention,” he says, “is to create vibrant, original art to lighten the space we live in.”

He uses eye and camera to capture the personality of what he sees, and then works with bright, vibrant, often unexpected colours to convey that personality in as truthful a way as he can. His way of working conveys the reality of a subject more fully than any factual or naturalistic representation can.
