Jo is based in Lindfield and was a professional dance band singer. She found a love of jazz swing after joining ‘Big Band Sounds’ and sings with them, smaller jazz ensembles and solo with backing tracks which include some popular songs as well as jazz standards.

Dance with Emily is an adult dance school teaching classical ballet, tap and jazz dance in Mid Sussex. They have performed locally for both summer and Christmas performances.

A Window on the Soul – the Art of Diary Writing

Cavan Wood examines how to keep a diary so that it can keep you ! He will be sharing some of readings from the great diarists including Samuel Pepys to the great diarists of today.
Craft your own cyantype print

The cyanotype photogram process is easy, clean(ish), fast and exciting so they make a great photography project for kids as well as serious artists. Come and join our cyanotype print making drop-in session to learn how and create your own beautiful work of art.

Places may be limited with only 4 or 5 workstations. Book in advance to guarantee a time slot.
Making the prints will take about 15 to 45 minutes… Explanation, composition, exposure, processing, and you’re done.

This workshop for adults could be just the thing you’re looking for….an opportunity to gain confidence with a range of materials and uncover your creativity through some tried and tested processes which will fire your imagination.The workshop is part of the Lindfield Arts Festival 2018; and takes place at The Gingerbread Tree Studio — a place where creativity can grow. Sarah is an experienced teacher, who has led many workshops in how to create wonderful, magical art work, for children and adults of all abilities She would like to help you achieve the same.
The session will cover a mix of structured learning, individual feedback, group inspiration and time to bring your art work to life. Tea, coffee and supportive banter provided free.
